reflections: on JBJ's candlelight vigil, perspectival space, and the future of Singapore

Comments

I'm just wondering (regarding your posts over JBJ) - Where are all the comments by friends, family, Singaporeans?
It seems that those who would have more knowledge and insight to this subject, would have posted at least some comment by now. Amazing huh? Kinda makes one sit and scratch your head in disbelief.
A sad state the people of this country is in. It is really sad to see this level of apathy displayed. Yes, the 'unquestioning' trait of the Chinese culture makes apathetic behavior even more profound and it is awfully hard to change. Focusing too much of their short term self interest which gradually would turn it against themselves collectively. To a large extent, living in such an environment for too long, one needs to check on oneself not to be a victim of it. Still JBJ needs to be applaud for his unrelenting effort to fight for change for the people.
